Calgary's National Costume Swap Day
In partnership with Green Halloween®, Swap.com, and Kiwi magazine, we have organized this annual event in Calgary to promote National Costume Swap Day™.

The Calgary event was one of many registered costume swaps organized this year to encourage people to swap and reuse "outgrown" costumes - to reduce waste and save money!

Thank you for your support of our first annual Calgary's National Costume Swap Day.

Planning is already underway for the 2012 Calgary's National Costume Swap Day that will include holding the city-wide swap on Friday night and Saturday morning.

For our second annual event, we will focus on sizes infant to tween and we are excited to announce the addition of a pet costume section!

“A costume swap is recycling at its most fun,” said Corey Colwell-Lipson, founder of Green Halloween®. “It not only means that fewer resources are used to make new products, but also means less packaging and less waste, since costumes often are trashed as soon as Halloween is over. People will really be making a difference in their community.”
